Parking near Centaur Institute:
Centaur Institute is located at 132A Bridge Road, Richmond, on the corner of Bridge Road and Lennox Street.
1. Lennox Street south side — closest option
Two-hour (2P) parking is available in Lennox Street on the south side of Bridge Road, on the same side as Centaur Institute. These are the most convenient spaces for most consultations. Availability is limited; check the sign applying to your bay and ensure your appointment can be completed within the displayed limit.
2. Judd Street Car Park — independent alternative
Thee City of Yarra’s Judd Street Car Park at 36 Thomas Street is the next recommended option. It has approximately 69 spaces and is a short walk from Centaur Institute. Search “Judd Street Car Park, Richmond” or “36 Thomas Street, Richmond”, and follow the conditions displayed at the car park.
3. Lennox Street north side
Additional timed parking may be available in Lennox Street north of Bridge Road. Check the sign for the applicable limit, operating hours and any permit restrictions.
4. Erin Street parking
Metered and time-restricted parking is available in Erin Street near the Epworth precinct. Conditions vary between bays, so check the signs carefully.
5. Epworth Richmond — paid fallback option
Paid undercover parking is available at Epworth Richmond, 89 Bridge Road, via the Bridge Road car-park entrance. Current advertised rates include 0–30 minutes free, $15 for 30–60 minutes, $20 for 1–2 hours and $25 for 2–3 hours. Rates may change.
Accessible parking
Australian Accessibility Parking Permit holders do not need to pay in City of Yarra paid-parking areas and may generally park for twice the period displayed on a time-restriction sign. Permit conditions and prohibited-parking restrictions still apply.
Arrival advice
Parking in Richmond can be busy. We recommend allowing an additional 15–20 minutes before your appointment. Parking availability, fees and restrictions may change; always follow the signs at the parking space or carpark entrance.

To book a consultation with Dr Jason Hockings, you will need a current referral from your GP or treating practitioner. This referral is required to be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Once we receive your referral and completed contact form, our team will arrange an appointment for you.
At your consultation, Dr Hockings will listen to your concerns, assess your condition, and provide a clear diagnosis. He will then discuss appropriate treatment options with you, with a focus on supporting your mobility, reducing pain, and helping you return to your everyday activities.
